Meet the Team
Jerry began his executive career at CrossComm Corporation which was acquired by Olicom A/S. While at Netscout Systems (Nasdaq:NTCT) Jerry held the position of SVP Worldwide Sales, helping to grow the business from $35M to $120M in three years leading up to a successful IPO. As EVP Field Operations at Pingtel, Jerry pioneered a commercial open-source business model and helped initiate the eventual acquisition of the company by Nortel Networks. He served as VP of Sales at Colubris Networks which was acquired by Hewlett Packet (NYSE: HPQ) before starting eZuce. Jerry has helped to greatly increase value and return on investment in each of his prior companies.
In addition to his role at eZuce Jerry serves on the board of a not-for-profit and has been active in local politics serving on the Board of Selectmen in his home town. Jerry was a scholarship athlete at Boston College where he received a B.S. in Business Administration from the Carroll School of Management. Jerry stays busy keeping up with family and community activities. An avid skeet shooter and outdoorsman, he also enjoys playing soccer, racquetball and golf.
Osman returned to the United States after a five-year term in emerging markets with Karel Electronics in Istanbul, Turkey, where he was in charge of Karel’s enterprise communications business. Osman served as Nasdaq-quoted Ulticom’s senior vice president and CMO from 2002 to 2008, where he led sales and marketing, and was responsible for helping the company earn the number one spot in the worldwide telecommunications signaling market. From 1998 to 2002, Osman was area vice president and general manager at Lucent Technologies, where he was responsible for softswitch based VoATM solutions. Prior to this time, Osman held executive positions at two U.S. telecom startups, MassMedia Communications and NewNet, that were later acquired by Lucent Technologies and ADC Telecommunications, respectively, as well as lead engineering positions at Motorola, GTE Communications and ITT Telecom.
Osman earned BSEE and MSCS degrees from M.E.T.U. in Ankara, Turkey, and completed an Executive MBA program at MIT Sloan School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Osman enjoys trekking, soccer and skiing in his free time, and being a consultant to his two kids.
Prior to joining eZuce, he was co-founder and CEO of Evogh. He secured funding, assembled teams, led development, and brought to market a unique video collaboration platform that currently serves several tens of thousands of active users world-wide. Philippe has also held the position of Senior Research Scientist at the California Institute of Technology for more than 15 years managing R&D activities, and was the principal investigator on several NSF and DOE projects. He initiated and managed an International research network link between Europe and the U.S. for an organization of several thousand users.
Philippe received his Master diploma in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from TELECOM ParisTech, and also earned a BSEE from University Aix-Marseille, Faculty of Science and Technology. Philippe holds a patent on Distributed Collaborative Systems.
Prior to joining eZuce, he co-developed what became one of Maine’s largest technology consulting and software development firms. After successfully selling the consulting business, Michael turned his attention to the growing IP telephony space. He has helped successfully deploy some of the region’s largest IP based communications systems.
Michael received his B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Maine. He continues to support and advocate for open source projects on a global basis most recently sponsoring the siXcom project. In his free time, Mike enjoys time on his 150 acre farm in Maine and enjoys motocross and considers himself a craft brew afficionado.
A Business Management graduate of The University of Massachusetts at Lowell, Michael has built his career through managing finance and operations in Banking, Legal, Logistics and High Tech. Michael made the jump into information technology back in 2010 and he has grown to love the fast paced, ever-changing environment.
Michael is a Massachusetts Notary Public and enjoys family time, community involvement, golf and coaching his three young children.
