Meet the Team
An Information and Communications Technology industry veteran, Osman had completed a 12-year tenure as C-level officer at publicly listed Ulticom (NSDQ:ULCM) and Karel (BIST:KAREL) prior to joining eZuce.He oversaw Sales, Marketing and Product Management in these companies helping them realize significantly higher market success.During his term Ulticom moved to the number one spot in the worldwide telecommunications signaling software market. From 1998 to 2002, Osman was an area vice president and general manager at Lucent Technologies responsible for softswitch-based Internet access and VoIP solutions.
Osman previously took on various Engineering and Marketing SVP positions at New England area software startups NewNet and MassMedia Communications where he played key roles in achieving successful acquisitions by ADC Telecommunications and Lucent Technologies, respectively. Earlier phases of his career involved software development and management roles at Motorola Codex, GTE Communications and ITT Telecom where his journey started in Raleigh, North Carolina.
He holds B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and M.S. degree in Computer Science from M.E.T.U. in Ankara, Turkey, and Executive MBA certificate from MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Osman enjoys playing competitive soccer, travelling, skiing, and being consultant to his two kids.
He was co-founder and CEO of Evogh prior to its merging with eZuce in 2014. He secured funding, assembled teams, led development, and brought to market a unique video collaboration platform that currently serves several tens of thousands of active users worldwide. Philippe has also held the position of Senior Research Scientist at the California Institute of Technology for more than 15 years managing R&D activities related to distributed computing, networking and collaboration, and was the principal investigator on several NSF and DOE projects. Over these years, Philippe built and managed several R&D International distributed engineering teams. He initiated and managed one of the first International research network link between Europe and the U.S. for an organization of several thousand users.
Philippe received his Masters in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from TELECOM ParisTech, and also earned a BSEE from University Aix-Marseille, Faculty of Science and Technology. Philippe holds a patent on Distributed Collaborative Systems.
Prior to joining eZuce, he co-developed what became one of Maine’s largest technology consulting and software development firms. After successfully selling the consulting business, Michael turned his attention to the growing IP telephony space. He has helped design and deploy corporate and cloud-based worldwide IP-based communications systems for many companies.
Michael received his B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Maine. He continues to support and advocate for open source projects on a global basis most recently sponsoring the sipXcom project. In his free time, Mike enjoys time on his farm in Maine, CrossFit, hunting, fishing and is a competitive autocross nut.
